Almond Milk Hot Chocolate

It’s almost Christmas!! Ahh!! I’ve been getting different recipes together and you can’t have Christmas without hot chocolate right?!! This one is a healthy alternative and it’s made with almond milk! WholeYum and I got together to make this and the hardest part was waiting for it to cool down so we could enjoy it. We totally inhaled this in about two minutes flat. Totally worth the wait!

This hot chocolate is so easy to make and we will never need to buy the packet stuff anymore. I feel so good about this decision! Almond milk, cocoa powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, raw sugar, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and whipped cream is all you’ll need. And a Christmas mug. I got a couple (bigggg) mugs from Home Goods a couple of weeks ago. Best decision ever! It leaves more room for hot chocolate 🙂

Now that you see how easy it is to make, you can help me plan to have a hot chocolate bar. I love having friends over and I’ve always wanted to have a hot chocolate bar and think this season is perfect for making that happen! Ahh the ideas! Excuse me while I make my list now…

I know I’ll be enjoying this hot chocolate for the next couple of week to keep me warm during my traffic commute to work. Our holiday gift this year was a neat insulated bottle that keeps drinks both hot and cold. Now I have yet another reason to drink this. Grab yourself a few ingredients and you’ll soon be tossing those instant packets far away!

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!! Click here to see how we made this hot chocolate!
